Category E SAMSA Accredited Skipper License – 1NM from Shore includes vessels operating on inland waters day or night, as well as vessels operating less than 1nm from shore and not more than 15nm coastal from an approved launch site, day only.

Category E Skippers License Requirements:

25 practical hours attended at a SAMSA approved training facility OR

50 practical hours signed off by an appropriately qualified skipper (category E or higher) OR

100 practical hours (category E vessels) signed off by the student & registration documentation of the appropriate vessels.

We offer:

25 required practical hours (Scheduled as per mutual availability)

One required theory class (Generally one evening in the week as from 18:00)

SAMSA required theory and practical examinations (Generally on the last Saturday/Sunday of the month)
